What is the land?

The Land" was a famous novel written by Mildred D. Taylor in 2001. The book won many prizes. In 2002 the book won Coretta Scoot King Author Award. Since everyone in the story was at fault they should be accounted for their actions. The main characters of this story are Willie, Paul, Mitchell, Mr Edward etc.

Willie throughout the story was worried about his job. He also kept on thinking that everyone will blame him for the Ghost wind if it does not act well. However, Paul was not held accountable for Ghost wind's injuries. Mitchell's character was portrayed to be very jealous since he could not learn how to ride a horse.

Paul feels an emotional connection about the Ghost Wind, on the other hand his father mostly values Ghost Wind as a possession. Paul's father ordered to the Paul to take care of Ghost Wind as he considered the horse as a possession and wanted to earn huge money from the horse.

How can I write an effective introduction to an informational essay? (I need some essay writing tips; mainly for introductions!)

Will give brainliest to the best answer, thanks again!

Answers

Answer:

Down below

Explanation:

So an informational essay gives info and tries to not get your reader bored. For an intro give some background on the topic. Remember an intro doesn’t have to be long. 3-4 sentences should be fine. Some people like to give definitions in their intro to define what they’re talking about. Give a few facts about the topic. Don’t go too much into the topic because an intro is just a start not the body. My intros usually are a few facts and details about the topic nothing too major and just move on. Don’t stress on the intro because a good body can make up for it. Good luck

Start off introducing the topic or the main thesis
Then list the subtopics or sub points creating a small explanation for each one
Then continue the essay going into each sub point

What argument does Lincoln make about the Civil War in "The Gettysburg Address"?

Answers

Answer:

"The Gettysburg Address" is a speech given by Abraham Lincoln in 1863. which some consider to be the greatest speech ever given by any US President.

Although the largest portion of this short speech is about honoring and remembering soldiers who gave their life on the battlefield, it is important to focus on the first few sentences of the speech.

Lincoln starts by reminding everyone on the Declaration of Independence 87 years ago (four score and seven years ago). That was the document that created and shaped American nation. The most prominent pillar on which the document resides is that "all men are created equal".

Now, Lincoln argues that that belief is put to a test. And that test is Civil War. It is a test that needs to show whether a country so dedicated to freedom and equality can endure and persist.

Basically, he poses a question "How long will a country that rests on the principles of freedom and equality regard slavery as normal thing?". According to him, the answer lies in the outcome of the war.
